About
Pratiush Sharma
I grew up with yoga as philosophy before I knew it as exercise.

The story
Yoga came to me as conversation at home long before it was a mat. The Gītā was read at the table; the Sūtras were quoted when someone lost their temper. I took it for granted, as children do.
Later came Hatha and shatkarma in India, years of pranayama, and then the detour that taught me most: martial arts and calisthenics. The handstand, of all things, sent me back to the Sūtras. Where the mind goes, the body follows. What you cannot let go of, you cannot hold.
Since 2011 I have taught in India and Germany, in studios, in companies and online. In Fellbach I run a studio with my wife. This site is the other half of that work: the philosophy, taught plainly, and the practices that make it stick, for people who live far from any studio.
